This is a classic Call of Cthulhu mystery about secrets, investigation, forbidden knowledge, and mounting dread. You’ll step into the shoes of ordinary people drawn into an extraordinary and deeply unsettling situation, where every clue brings you closer to something that should never have been disturbed.

Intro:

Chapter 1 of 3 - An ancient discovery. A trail of unexplained deaths. A horror that should never have been unearthed.

Set in the shadowed world of the 1920s, this is a three-part Call of Cthulhu campaign of mystery, investigation and creeping cosmic horror. 

From abandoned ships adrift off the New England coast to isolated fishing communities and the remote forests of Massachusetts, every clue reveals another fragment of a mystery that stretches back centuries.

The campaign is presented as three linked scenarios, each designed to be played over two game sessions. Players are welcome to join for an individual chapter or experience the complete six-session campaign from beginning to end. Pre-generated investigators are available, making it easy for both new and experienced players to jump straight into the mystery.

NB: Call of Cthulhu draws on the literary legacy of H. P. Lovecraft, whose work helped define cosmic horror and had a major impact on horror fiction in general, but whose personal views included racism, xenophobia, and other harmful prejudices. Modern games inspired by the Mythos are enjoyed in spite of those beliefs, not in celebration of them.
