Are you ready to embark on your DnD Campaign in Coventry? 

Join our L1 Beginner-Friendly DnD Campaign, designed especially for players who want to explore the world of role-playing with a bit more commitment than a one-shot!

Intro: Welcome to the city of Ancoate, the Jewel in the Empire of Alressa. The Empire is one of strict rule and religious observance. It has also been in a state of peace for 2 centuries - the current ruling house having formed strong bonds with the neighbouring nations. 

But where do you fit in? 

You are a member of the militia in training - Ancoate doesn’t just train soldiers. It trains clerics for her churches, paladins for the Vanguard who worship the stability of the Crown, wizards for her defences and even assassins for when diplomacy may not be the only option. 

Our first session will start at Level 1, the day before you graduate militia college (one of the Empire’s best) and you will go out into the Empire not just as a representative of the state, but also of your House. There will be one of 8 major houses that you will choose from, looking to build the reputation (or destroy it from the inside…). 

Please be aware that the classes, races and spells used in this story must be from the 2024 Player’s Handbook only.

Please be aware - there will also need to be a Session Zero, as you will all know one another from your house ties (or college rivalries.) As soon as everyone is booked in, we’ll organise this Session Zero at Fargo Village (either at Twisted Barrel so we can spread out or Sugar and Spice for coffee, cake and colluding!) 

One very important note: while this will have combat, it won’t be the major driver for the story. This will focus on intrigue, mystery and using your skills to solve things in ways that perhaps won’t draw the most attention to you. Tonally, this story will lean more towards the serious, focusing on the roleplay elements to help reveal the world and the antagonists together.
