Celebrate Chinese New Year with a hands-on STEM workshop that blends creativity, culture, and engineering delivered by talented Kaja from STEM goes Wild! In this 2-hour session, you’ll design and build your very own interactive board game, inspired by the legendary Chinese Zodiac Race myth. Perfect for adults and teens (no experience needed!), this workshop is all about storytelling, circuits, and fun.
What You’ll Do:
Learn the Zodiac Race myth to inspire your game design.
Create a game board with copper tape paths and circuit-triggered zones.
Add interactive elements like LEDs, buzzers, and vibrating traps.
Decorate with Chinese New Year patterns and colors.
Take home your functional board game to share!
Note: Our room is located on the 1st floor above the market hall in Fargo Village. Please note that accessibility is via stairs only.
