Estelia, a bright-eyed half-elf warrior inspired by heroic epics, joined the Golden Griffins seeking glory and adventure, only to find mercenary life far more mundane - and later far more brutal - than she had imagined. Forced to fight in the Liturium War against her own countrymen and eventually against her former allies, the trauma of betrayal and battlefield horrors shattered her sense of loyalty and justice.
