Orzei, son of a merchant from the coastal Dwarven city of Varekan, grew obsessed with the ancient conflicts between his people and the Drow, abandoning his family’s trade to pursue vengeance against what he saw as an ever-present threat. His hatred led him to Zander’s Peril in the swamps of Lo Fuin, where he became a relentless Drow hunter, his brutal efficiency and bloodlust eventually causing political tension and concern among scholars and commanders. Removed from his post, Orzei was recruited by the WEHL, redirecting his battle-hardened fury toward defending Tharador from greater threats - an honour he accepted with fierce resolve.
