Vibe: Light-hearted and whimsical, with a focus on mystery. My games usually revolve around roleplay and exploration with some combat. It gets weird sometimes.

Backstory

I started playing D&D in 2019 - by running it. If you know anything about the hobby, you may be thinking: “What? Why would you do that?” … I ask myself the same question.

I actually got into playing the game by watching a lot - some might wager way too much - of D&D actual plays on YouTube. Dimension 20 on YT is a lot of fun - check it out!

I’ve always enjoyed running games that ask curiosity of the players, with weird NPCs and fantastical scenarios or settings. I’ve had players ride on the back of a very polite wolf the size of a house, play matchmaker with a hart and a doe in a fae realm, and turn a rusting automaton into a guardian for a local village (that one actually happened twice!). I’ll never expect you to know every rule or tiny bit of lore in a game I’m running; I’d only ask that you’re willing to explore and learn.

  • What can you expect at my game table?

    Grounded, immersive exploration in weird, whimsical worlds. That circus tent is actually alive, and it follows a predictable and internally coherent set of rules. Let’s all be sensible about the breathing circus tent.

    Previous point is immediately undermined by the fact that I don’t mind players using spells or abilities in unconventional ways!

    A surprising amount of speaking with animals.

    An array of character voices, sound effects, stupid jokes and background music.

    The occasional plot twist.
